Steve: This “Three Cups” chicken is delicious!
Tricia: Yes, it’s a popular dish here. It has a cup each of sesame oil, rice wine and soy sauce.
Steve: It’s a little 1)spicy, though! [Sips from his beer]
Tricia: Hey, you’re not 2)supposed to drink alone.
Steve: Huh?
Tricia: It’s polite to raise your glass to someone else, and drink together.
Steve: Oh, right. [Raises glass to Tricia. She finishes her glass in one gulp.]
Tricia: Hey, you didn’t finish your glass!
Steve: You mean…?
Tricia: Yes, it’s not 3)polite to drink with someone and not finish.
Steve: [Finishes beer] This could be dangerous.
