Jack: I’d like to make an 1)estimate for you first. Can you 2)list for me the furniture and appliances you have?
Sarah: Sure. I have three beds, all queen size. There’s a 3)couch and two 4)armchairs. A dining room table set. A 5)dishwasher, full-size range. And a washer and dryer.
Jack: OK. Do you have any other large or heavy items?
Sarah: Yes, I have a large 6)Oriental rug that I’d like to take.
Jack: OK, for what you’ve listed so far I estimate 7)roughly five-hundred dollars.
Sarah: How do you 8)calculate the cost of the small boxes and stuff?
Jack: Our movers will calculate that for you. It works out to about ten dollars per box.
Sarah: OK, then let’s make an 9)appointment for next Wednesday.
Jack: Is 9:00 a.m. good for you?
Sarah: That’s perfect. See you then.
